Is Holding A Grudge A Way to Solve Things???

Let me ask you guys a question, or maybe I've asked you in the title up there...

IS HOLDING A GRUDGE A WAY TO SOLVE THINGS?

This afternoon, I suggested to my beloved 'Papa' on night practices for choral speaking. Once the 'Papa' told us to have a practice session during nighttime, some of them started to look at me as if I'm something disgusting... I wonder why?

One of them even confessed to me that he will be holding a grudge on me for the rest of the week. Why???

My life is miserable enough as it is. Please, don't add more burden to my life OK!

With all due respect,
Hafiz Khairuddin

59th Convocation Day of IPGM-KBL

Today was my college's 59th convocation day for those who have finished their course last year (those who does not fail, at least). So, it was a busy day for me and my JPP members.

This was what actually happened.

1) 7:00 a.m - Open up our little flower stall. We were selling flowers for the graduates and their parents or loved ones.
2) 8:00 a.m - Started business... At first, not so many customers as everyone was in a hurry to get ready for the ceremony.
3) 9:00 a.m - Arrival of the VIP guest.
4) 10:00 a.m - Business was booming! People came to see all the flowers we sell. Some people bought and reserved the flowers for their friends and loved ones.
5) 11:00 a.m - I sold some bouquet of flowers. I also bought one for my lecturer for her birthday.
6) 12:00 p.m - Stopped selling. Counted the money. Don't know how much we made, have to ask our treasurer for that. Hehehe...
7) 3:00 p.m - Attended a class...

So, even though it was convocation day, I still have to go to class. Urgh, can't even imagine!

With all due respect,

Matang Wildlife Center...

Oh, today was very fascinating! Especially after I went to follow a group of KPLI students to Matang Wildlife Center for a little picnic and seeing wild animals. Huhu... It was a GREAT day!

When we first reached there, we paid for the tickets. Then, we went for a picnic near the river. We also take a little dip in the river. It's freezing cold! But, it was so much fun, eating barbecue and splashing water at the same time. Haha, that was really fun!

Next, we went to see the wild animals. They ranged from wild cats (leopard) to Orang Utan! Hehe... Seeing those cute orang utans was really a cherry on top of a really nice day! Hehehe...

To the KPLI group (Kak Su, Kak Maria, Abg Lan, Abg Mat and others), thank you so much for letting me go with you guys. I had so much fun! Next time you guys are planning to go out, do tell me!!! Hehehe...

With all due respect,
Hafiz Khairuddin

A Thousand Days - Clay Aiken

One of the songs I like from this particular singer...

A Thousand Days
Cay Aiken
Album: A Thousand Different Ways

[Verse 1]
Through my eyes
I have seen the world start spinning like a ball
Stars light up and then fall for you
So then what's a man like me supposed to do
If I gave you the moon would you notice
That I'm right beside you?

[Chorus]
Well now a thousand days and thousand nights are not enough
Cause I can't hold back the way I feel about my love
Won't let it go, won't let it go
And if the angels came I'd fight them back to win your soul
And when everything is said and done they'd go back home
They ought to know, they ought to know
That you're mine, all mine

[Verse 2]
In my world
You're the sun that shines and lights up evening skies
Clearing up the horizons
Hold on
Come with me and I will never let you down
And in this love we'll drown
This I promise you
Cause they can't hold us down

[Chorus]

[Bridge]
I would do anything, just believe it
Your love means everything, and I need it
Your heart won't lie
Reach out for mine

Well now a thousand days and thousand nights are not enough
Cause I can't hold back the way I feel about my love
Won't let it go, won't let it go
Cause you're mine, all mine
And if the angels came I'd fight them back to win your soul
And when everything is said and done they'd go back home
They ought to know, they ought to know
That you're mine, all mine

If I were to have a girlfriend, this will be the song that I will dediate to her...

I LOVE YOU!!!

I'm so in love with you, my darling!
Don't leave me all alone here in this dark world!
Apart from my family, you are the only one for me!
Oh, I LOVE YOU, TEH SI PENG SPECIAL!!!

My new favourite drink, apart from iced Milo.
Teh Si Peng is actually tea with milk and an ingredient called "Gula Melaka".
Can only be found in Sarawak (or so I think).

I can't really believe I'm saying this but I'm thinking of staying here, for GOOD! Hehehe...

My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean...

My Bonnie lies over the ocean,
My Bonnie lies over the sea,
My Bonnie lies over the ocean,
Oh, bring back my Bonnie to me.
Bring back, bring back,
Oh, bring back my Bonnie to me, to me
Bring back, bring back,
Oh, bring back my Bonnie to me.

Have you ever heard that song? My classmates and I had a wonderful time with Mdm. Portia yesterday (3rd April) where we learned a few things that could be useful when teaching students in class. Nursery rhymes!

"My Bonnie" was just one of them. It can be used as a song for a musical chair contest, except that everyone must know the lyrics and know the action that goes throughout the song. One wrong move and you're out of the game!

Haha!!! Mdm. Portia, we want more!

With all due respect,
Hafiz Khairuddin

Mock Exam... What Actually Happened...

Haha... So, here's another miserable tale of my depressed, most unfortunate life. MOCK EXAM!

First day (30th March) - Language Description (Grammar)

What happened:

1) Woke up early, as usual (even though exams starts at 8:30 am...
2) Did my laundry
3) Went to Brooke's Hall for exam.
4) Sat in my place, took out my pens and my Matrix card.

After that, I totally realised something. "MY IC!!!" I shouted to myself.

5) Run back to my room to get my wallet.
6) Run back to Brooke's Hall for exam.
7) Flipped through question paper, checking for missing pages or something wrong with it. Clearly, something is wrong. No answers in the answer spaces!
8) 8:30 - START EXAM
9) Trouble with Phrasal Verbs...
10) Trouble with Tenses...
11) 10 MINUTES TO GO! Struggling with the word 'snowballs'.
12) Created a silly sentence with the word 'snowballs'. Just in time to drop my pen when the lecturer shouted "TIME'S UP!"

Second Day (31st March) - Language Development (Essay Writing)

What Happened:

1) It's one of my classmate's birthday!
2) Not so much happened, except for the fact that I almost waste my time DREAMING in the exam hall, IGNORING my question paper...
3) 5 minutes before time's up, I wrote my last sentence with difficulties since I was shaking so hard... Dunno why, maybe my Parkinson's just came at the wrong time...

Third Day (1st April) - English Studies (Literature)

What happened:

1) April Fool! Luckily no one FOOLED me...
2) Saw the questions for the first time.
3) Answered 'Unseen Poem' titled "ice-cream boys" by Muhammad Haji Salleh... Quite easy to interpret... Hope I can score that part.
4) Essay question... Compare & contrast "The Lesson" by Roger McGough and "The Best of School" by D. H. Lawrence... HARD!!!
5) Short story... "Everyday Use" by Alice Walker. Quite hard... Haizz...
6) Essay question... Discuss the child-adult relationships in "The Lumber Room" by H. H. Munro and "Charles" by Shirley Jackson... Sounds easy but if you don't remember the points, HARD!!!
7) Drama... "Trifles" by Susan Glaspell... Quite hard, but there are some 'free mark' questions...

Fourth Day (2nd April) - Social Studies

What happened:

1) It's my cousin's birthday!
2) See question...
3) Section A - 2 questions, choose one. Picked one on gender and society, discrimination on women...
4) Section B - 3 questions, choose 2. Picked 'violence against women' and 'advantages & disadvantages of e-mails as a medium of communication'.
5) Hooray for the next 7 months (Final Exam)!!!

So, basically that's what happened during my MOCK EXAM period. Hope that I'll get good results and didn't fail!
